MOTOR EXCHANGE

Spare parts are critical to maintaining equipment availability; however, the capital investment to purchase inventory and the ongoing costs associated with taxes, insurance, and warehousing of these components can be significant. FLANDERS Motor Exchange program can eliminate these costs.

FLANDERS has over 300 excavator motors and generators in-stock and available for customer exchange. All units are completely refurbished to FLANDERS specifications to ensure reliability and long service life. Motor exchange options include components stored at one of FLANDERS' service centers, as well as FLANDERS-owned spares stored at customers' mine sites.

Need a motor or generator for hoist, drag, swing, or propel? Maybe for crowd or dipper trip? Synchronous motor? Bearings, pedestals, or other MG Set components? Our motor exchange program can provide you with the spare when you need it.

What is the cost of the motor exchange? When a FLANDERS-owned spare is used by one of our customers, the original, failed unit will then be refurbished back to FLANDERS specifications and returned to FLANDERS inventory, ready for the next time it is needed. ONLY the cost of repairing the failed unit will be billed to the customer. No "flat rate" charges. No exchange fees. No consignment charges. We charge ONLY the cost of the repair.
