FLANDERS specializes in the manufacture and repair of large AC & DC mill motors for metal rolling. With crane capacity up to 110 tons, no mill motor is too large. FLANDERS' years of experience in the repair and upgrade of reversing mill motors and finishing mill motors has been incorporated in the development of many advanced proprietary processes to improve the life span and reliability of this equipment. With ISO procedures and complete class H insulation systems, the resulting FLANDERS products are unsurpassed in the industry for reliability and performance.

Upgrades - FLANDERS' in-house engineering department can evaluate existing apparatus for potential upgrade in horsepower ratings. Older motors can be refurbished to not only better than new condition, but in many cases, increases in torque and/or speed can be achieved in the same frame size.

Spare Apparatus - Do you need spare motors or components for obsolete mill motors? FLANDERS manufactures motors and motor components at our Evansville Indiana manufacturing facility. Replacement components such as armatures, field coils, and interpoles are available from FLANDERS, even for older, obsolete equipment.

New Motors - Does your Greenfield project require a special speed/torque/size application that is not readily met with a standard OEM design from a catalog? FLANDERS' Motor Manufacturing Division can design and manufacture a complete new mill motor specifically for your application.
