Driven by the need for high quality motor components, over the last 20 years Flanders Electric has developed manufacturing capabilities to produce shafts, bearing housings, frames, laminations, stator & armature coils, shunt fields, interpoles, commutators, and complete armatures.

With over 60 years of experience in motor repair and root cause failure analysis (RFCA), Flanders personnel know the “weak links” in standard motor components and can therefore identify upgrades and improvements to the original design to prevent future failures. Flanders has taken this broad base of knowledge and applied it to their new component manufacturing. Using the most advanced materials and processes, Flanders strives to produce high quality motor components, superior to any others available on the market.

Flanders agile manufacturing system allows them to quickly react to customer needs for fabrication any motor component. Computer controlled machine tools, lasers cutters, and winding machines are used with ISO 9001:2000 certified procedures to ensure reliability and consistency in every component.

Specialized parts such as a spare armature for an obsolete motor are routinely manufactured for customers around the world. Flanders has produced countless spare armatures up to 6000 HP for reversing mill applications.
